Terms & Conditions

PLACING AN ORDER

To place an order, browse our different categories and place your required items in the shopping bag. Please be as detailed as possible about your design needs.

Once you have checked out you will need to do an Electronic Fund Transfer "EFT" payment. Add R100 to the total amount should you wish to make a cash deposit. Your order will be marked as "active" as soon as the funds reflect in our account. Please use your order number as payment reference so that it can be linked.

DESIGN PROCESS
When your order is active, we will pull out all the stops to create your bespoke apparel or products.

Digital concepts of these items will be sent for approval BEFORE production commences.
Yip, you will see what your goodies will look like beforehand, and give the GO AHEAD- before we proceed to production.

In the event where no go ahead is given within 3 working days, we will proceed to send your order to production to defray costs. We will not be held liable for subsequent changes.

TURN AROUND TIME
Products are handmade (with your specific requirements), therefore we have a turn around time of 4-6 weeks, depending on time of year- Wedding season is our busy time and orders tend to lean towards 6 weeks. Be sure to place your order WELL in advance to avoid disappointment!

All orders are subject to stock availability. Kindly note that we cannot be held liable in the event where our suppliers run out of stock which leads to a delay in production.

Special requests can be submitted prior to check out should you be pressed for time.

DELIVERY
You will be notified by email as soon as your order is ready to be shipped. Delivery costs to anywhere in SA via Aramex Courier is R115, Parcels exceeding 45 x 30 x 15cm will be shipped with The Courier Guy at R165.00. South African Postal Services is charged at R75 and includes a tracking number. Should your parcel exceed 3kg or the area you live in is classified as a regional area, we will quote an estimated delivery fee which will be payable prior to shipping.

DISCLAIMER
Bakgat Ontwerp will not accept responsibility for orders with spelling errors after the final approval was given. Please double check all aspects before giving the GO AHEAD. In the event of changes after the product has been completed, it will fall onto the client to purchase another.

DIGITAL & LITHO PRINTING
The colour of printing may vary to the digital designs provided, however we do keep a close eye to make sure it is as close as the approved colour.

SUBLIMATION

Bakgat Ontwerp will not accept any responsibility to colour variations on sublimated products (Sublimated mugs and Sublimated cushions). Designs for sublimated products are approved at the client's own risk as colours may vary from approved design. 

All wooden products (Bamboo, MDF, Wooden Hangers) may vary as it is a natural product and the grain might cause lighter or darker engraving.

​Our ribbon selection changes regularly and the ribbons used on previous products might not be in stock. We will select ribbons to match your colour scheme as close as possible.

In the event of an order being cancelled after it was marked as active a 60% cancellation fee will apply to defray costs incurred. 

No returns will be accepted as all products are handmade according to your specific requirements, only in the event of a product malfunction will returns be accepted for replacement. 

All digital designs remain the intellectual property of BakGat Ontwerp. Should you wish to re-use a design we created, you will need to obtain written consent.

Any other design work pertaining to vectorizing of logos or re-drawing of artwork that is not print ready will result in a design fee at our prescribed hourly rate.

Prices shown online are subject to change without any prior notice. 

Invoices sent via the online shop will only be honored for 7 days after which it will be cancelled.
